Mission
Statement
The River Bats intend to re-establish Baton Rouge as a
prominent, professional baseball city. To achieve this goal we will
rebuild the city's oldest professional baseball venue, Pete Goldsby
Field. We will offer economical, family entertainment through quality
baseball and provide aspiring players the opportunity to play at the
professional level while honing their skills and showcasing their talent
to major league organizations. We will partner with local and national
businesses to further commerce and trade in the community, to facilitate
our goals and assure the continuation of our organization and sponsors.
