2004 South Louisiana Baseball League Corporate Partnership Opportunities

As a new and dedicated member of the Baton Rouge community, the South Louisiana Baseball League would like to invite all members of the business community to join our team for 2004!

  What is the South Louisiana Baseball League, you may ask? Well, we are a newly formed collegiate baseball league with the goal of creating a competitive environment for the area's local college baseball talent to hone their skills in the off-season. SLB provides local college baseball players with the opportunity to develop their talents without the burden of traveling out of state. By keeping Louisiana's talented baseball prospects in-state, SLB can succeed in showcasing the state's baseball traditions, and provide the local residents with the opportunity to watch their favorite college players grow and develop.

Another goal of SLB is to further the renovation of Pete Goldsby Field, one of the city's oldest sports venues. Over 1 million dollars in renovations have already taken place, and more improvements are on the horizon like the addition of chair-back seats, remodeling of the backstop area, the addition of party decks to attract corporate events, and the new outfield wall which is already under construction. The South Louisiana Baseball League believes in the potential of Pete Goldsby Field to become a top-quality entertainment venue, and now we are inviting your business to take part in this exciting transformation.
