L.J. Dupuy is
no stranger to professional baseball. He is an associate
scout with the New York Yankees as well the hitting
coach for the River Bats in addition to his off-field
duties.
During his career he has served as a coach with
various teams in the All American Association, Prairie
and Texas-Louisiana Leagues. Dupuy was the field
manager of the Brandon Grey Owls of the Prairie League
in 1996. Prior to the Yankees he also served ten years
as an associate scout with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Dupuy
lives in Addis, LA with his wife, Debbie. He is a
graduate of Brusly High School and attended Southeastern
Louisiana University.
