Profile:

In 2001, Ariel was the MVP of his team at Whittier College. Ariel led the league in innings pitched with 104 1/3, he also led the league in appearances and strikeouts in his final year. After finishing up with his college career Ariel signed a contract to play with the Greenville Bluesman. After one season with Greenville, the Dubois County Dragons picked him up in 2002. In 2003, Ariel played for the Tecate Cerreceros before joining the Baton Rouge River Bats in the summer of this year.
